I discovered my love for creative sewing in childhood
My imagination was further encouraged by the various stories I read.
One of these stories, in particular, my favourite, was of the fairies that
lived in a large tree in the forest. Wanting to be a fairy myself, I set
about sewing a shiny blue satin skirt and matching top in the
anticipation that once I put it on, I would magically turn into a fairy.
